projectlivehistory

Doctor of Historical Sciences, Leading Researcher of the Department of Archeology of the Migration Period and the Early Middle Ages, Vladimir Ivanovich Kulakov, for the international project "Living History - Reconstruction of the Common History of a Thousand Years Ago", has created an electronic brochure dedicated to the Prussians, Skalvas and Curonian Islands in the Viking Age.

The brochure tells about little-known pages of the ancient and early medieval history of the tribes of the Western Balts, who once inhabited the southeastern Baltic. The book presents the well-known, thanks to research in recent years, signs of the material and spiritual culture of the Prussians, Curonians, Skalvians and Yatvingians. The book is intended for archaeologists, historians and everyone interested in understanding the history of the Amber Region.
